His memory Apr 1895 by his Wife Jane. Discharge document for William Hannan dated June 26, 1866. At Denver, Colorado Territory, signed by the Regt Col (name indecipherable to me), the paymaster (in red ink) n, and Thomas McDougall. Measures apx 8x11 and is flat with the evidence of having been folded in six. Tape reinforcement on the back, also one section of the back printed with standard form Oath of Identity, pencilled Claim number, and the name Hannan penciled faintly on the corner. Lastly, a superb Carte-de-Visite photograph of 5 soldiers in full regalia with rifles. I assume one is Hanna, and I will also guess for the lack of a revenue stamp this was taken in Colorado, 1866. Any input on this guess is welcome. I have posted 12 photographs.
