3/4 seated Civil War Soldier Tintype / ferrotype in amazing early Scovills gutta percha Union Case. The Soldier is wearing a 9-button Union Shell Jacket. Condition is As Follows: IMAGE: Slight scratches. Also a small area on his left arm where the emulsion is lifting off.

Protected behind glass to prevent further damage. CASE: beautiful and heavy Union case (Thermoplastic) circa 1860s.
