For your consideration is this rare identified Civil war tintype photograph identified as James H. Looking over the civil war database, I found a James H Moore who was from Nashua NH and enlisted on 8/12/1862 as a Musician. He mustered into E Company of the 9th NH Infantry and mustered out on 6/10/1865. He was only 14 when enlisting so this must have been taken near the end of the war.
Great 1/4 plate tintype in an EX thermoplastic case. Nice view of his sword, belt plate and drum to his side. The photograph is in fair condition due to bends and corrosion that is on the right side. Shows pretty well but when tilted in light you can see the bending.
Overall a really great piece and would make a splendid addition to your collection.
