Large Civil War Tintype Photo Union Soldier With Gun/Tinted Amazing Tintype

Amazing tintype of soldier with gun, and US belt buckle. Hand Tinted, buttons, buckle, wonderful detail. Back of the frame reads the following. Died of starvation in a civil war prison in Andersonville.

Brother of Fredrick Graham Conrad. I can not verify that the person in the photo is Joseph Conrad.

The photo was in the family for many years. Two paper tags on back of frame show age, and state that the person is Conrad.

I did find a page of Carbon County PA Civil War history. The page stated that Joseph Conrad died of starvation in a rebel jail. Measures about 5 1/2 inches wide, 7 inches tall. Check out my other items. Everything I sell is as I found it...

I never clean or repair any item, I prefer to leave that to you. Please look at the pics, they tell the story far better then I ever can. I describe things and take photos to the best of my ability. But I'm no expert...
