Very rare 1/6th Plate Purple Glass Ambrotypes of a Pennsylvania soldier in uniform and his wife in full view standing behind an Union Army Flag adorned with stars in a circle pattern, which was used to show support at home for the soldiers off fighting in the south. She is identified behind the case as Elizabeth Slaymaker (maiden name) & Her husband as Martin Girvin Both come housed in full but split leatherette cases.
