No sun fading or emulsion issues like cracking. Image is hand touched up, adding tone to his cheeks which with his wild hair and intense eyes only makes him look more traumatized. Authentically dated, through contemporary information but also a stamp on the back! It is a 2c U. Internal Revenue Stamp Bank Check Orange produced only between 1862-71, featuring George Washington's portrait.
