Antique Civil War Soldier With Sword Tintype Photo In Union Case Gutta Percha

This is in great preowned condition for its age. This is a rare find because of the soldier in his uniform fully and sword in hand. The solider is in full uniform, has the Calvary cross swords insignia on his bummer hat and is holding a Calvary Sabre. The picture of the soldier is still very clear. It measures about 3.5x3.5. There are some imperfections to note. The thermoplastic case does have some small nicks in it on the corners, edges and on some of the ornate design ridges on the front and back of the case. Also the purple fabric is a little worn in the top right corner. You'll be able to see these imperfections in the photos. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
