The product is a Civil War era CDV & tintype photo album featuring a Union soldier (1st sergeant) along with several identified portraits depicting men, women & children with dolls from the Long family. This original period item from the United States contains 30 Carte de Visites (CDV) and 4 tintypes from the Civil War (1861-65) until at least 1872. At least 5 CDVs have revenue stamps on the reverse side that date them from 1864-66. This album offers a unique glimpse into the lives of a family from Cincinnati, Indiana & Illinois captured during this transformative time in American history.
