Civil War Soldier with Additional Pre-War Gem Tintype 1860s Photo Lot

  
Original 1/6 tintype behind mat and cover glass in half of a case. He has painted gold uniform buttons and is wearing a gold ring. Tucked into the bottom-right corner (on top of the glass) is a gem tintype.. Looks like the same man taken right before the war. Tintype does have some bends and mat abrasions, but they are not heavy.
