Tintype Civil War Photograph of An Identified Confederate Cavalryman. Original image on metal features a Confederate soldier in riding boots and red tinted blouse with a gold hand tinted buckle. A very old note inside the back of the frame reads H. Image measures 3-1/8" tall x 2-5/8" wide. Housed in a book style case. Photographic image is excellent condition. Soldiers shirt was tinted red and his belt buckle was hand tinted gold at time of production. Pictures have been taken with the tintype inside and outside of the case.
