RARE Antique Ambrotype Tintype Daguerreotype Photo Lot Victorian Civil War Era Cases. Extraordinary collection of original mid-19th century antique photographic portraits including ambrotypes, tintypes, and daguerreotype housed in original period case with ornate brass mats and with original thermoplastic/leather covers.

Please see photos as they are the biggest part of description. This estate-found grouping contains approximately 10 antique photographic pieces dating from the 1850s-1870s and includes portraits of Victorian men, women, children, and infants.

A few retain their original hinged cases, velvet interiors, brass mats, glass, and paper photographer labels. These are authentic one-of-a-kind images from the earliest era of photography - true "mirror with a memory" pieces from the Civil War/Victorian period. Original cases and covers (Some).
