C1864 CIVIL WAR GENERAL McCLELLAN PHOTO BADGE w US AMERICAN FLAG, PRESIDENTIAL? Circa 1864 Civil War Era Paper Photograph housed in a gemtype frame depicting Civil War General-in-Chief, George B. Attached to the brass mat is a grosgrain U. In 1864, McClellan ran as the Democratic party candidate for President against Abraham Lincoln. Possibly this is a campaign piece from that election.

Approximate size of brass mat is 3/4" x 1". Size of framed photo and attached Flag is about 3/4" x 2".
