Rare Confederate Texas CIVIL War Soldier Star Belt Buckle Kepi Albumen CDV Image

  
The soldier wears a kepi/bummer cap and belt with buckle. The buckle has a star like the ones worn by some Texas Confederate Soldiers. I'm no expert on which side this soldier fought for but it's cool that he has a starred buckle. Please see my 12 pictures and please use them for condition and description of this albumen. The original photographer applied chalk to the buckel on the kepi, the soldiers eyes, the soldiers wedding ring and his belt buckle. The thick stock cardboard that the albumen was originally applied to has been trimmed down to 6.625" X 9.125" and the actually albumen soldier image measures 5.5" X 9". This soldier albumen comes housed in a 8" X 12" Riker Display Case. The reverse of this albumen has some numbers written in pencil like it was part of a collection. There is some rear damage where paper was peeled off but it doesn't affect the albumen image. There are a few spots on the albumen. I'm not sure if they are part of the egg-white/albumen development process or from something that dripped on the image over the years.
