McClure, who served in Perrin's Battalion, Mississippi State Cavalry, and in Polk's Rangers and in Power's Regiment, Mississippi, CSA. The photo has faded a bit and has remnants of an old pastedown on its rear, but is in otherwise very good condition. The photo's reverse is stenciled Frederichs, No. 151, Washington Street, Vicksburg, Miss.
