There is both Army and Scarce Naval images here as well as rare photographers. I have tried to show as much as I can and will list each CDV individually below. Condition is very good, spine ever so slightly loose, natural age foxing, slight tears. President Abraham Lincoln , Anthony/Brady Backmark. A seated Lincoln, originally taken by Mathew Brady in Washington, DC, January 8, 1864 Verso with E.

Anthony, New York studio imprint. Grant stands with one hand thrust in his pocket and the other holdingthe edge of his coat. Around one arm is a MOURNING RIBBON commemorating the death of President Lincoln. Light foxing, Clear image, Gutekunst, Philadelphia backmark. George McClellan , seated, arm resting on chair. Appears to be wearing winter frock. Case & Getchell (rare) , Boston backmark. John Wool , Veteran of the War of 1812. Old school like Winfield Scott at the start of the war though was in much better shape and could mount a horse.

Was 77 at time of image. Case & Getchell (rare), Boston. This is an Anthony print of a Brady Negative, and shows a 3/4 view of the General in full dress gear. He has on his Epaulets, and is carrying his fanciest dress sword.
