Civil War CD album with43 photos some are by NEGRO photographer BALL

Sorry it was a partly cloudy day when pictures were taken so the color & focus are off in the gallery image. This lantern glass slide is 4" x 3 1/4" in size.

They are mostly still sealed from originally being placed in and then identified on the outside. When i saw this i saw "WRIGHT" family members noted so i acquired it thinking maybe Frank Lloyd Wright since some in the book were marked as being Chicago.

The 2nd reason i acquired this album was that there are BALL marked ones in the lower left (impressions) which is JP BALL a negro African American photographer. I have seen a few of his before and understand they are sought after. The one identified as "father of AL Wright" has a Johnny Cash resemblance and is a JP BALL cdv too!

There are a couple Civil War related with the one man noted as being Captain Bates Dickson. There is also that General Grant one towards the back. This is a decent album that someone will probably remove the cdv's from for their value. They are in decent condition from what i can see too. The book itself is worn on the outside and is missing its leather covering spine but does have the brass lock clasp still.
