Amazing original tintype of 2 Union soldiers with their cavalry sabers, posing for the photographer, with a hand-tinted red, white and blue American flag waving in the background. A fine studio portrait (probably not really a "waving" flag), and in wonderful condition, with the light-metal gold frame. This is 3 1/4" bu 4 1/4" overall.
