The Corcoran's Art Building at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D. Was seized by the U. Army in August 1861 and used as a supply depot and warehouse for records and uniforms during the Civil War. In 1864 the building was also utilized as office space for the Quartermaster General Montgomery C. DIMENSIONS: 3 3/8" x 6 15/16".
