Excessively rare albumen photograph of President Andrew Johnson, Secretary of War Edwin Stanton, and Lieutenant General Ulysses S. Grant witnessing the Grand Review of the Armies march in front of the White House at the end of the Civil War between May 23 to 24, 1865.

EXCESSIVELY RARE ALBUMEN PHOTOGRAPH OF PRESIDENT ANDREW JOHNSON, SECRETARY OF WAR EDWIN STANTON, AND LIEUTENANT GENERAL ULYSSES S. GRANT AT THE GRAND REVIEW OF THE ARMIES IN MAY 1865. Attached to a mount that contains a caption label added with contemporary handwritten provenance: President's Stand, Return of Sherman's Army.

Measures 4 by 4 inches and in very fine condition with only light soiling and scuffing on the verso.
