Rare Lot Armed ID'd Civil War Soldier Alexander Rayn Indiana Infantry 1860s

  
Ninth-plate half-cased tintype of Alexander, behind mat and glass. Rayn is shown holding his rifle, with what appear to be other weapon(s) in his belt and what looks like a bayonet on his hip.

His breastplate and buckle are painted gold. Rayn's original funeral / memorial card, 6.5" x 4.25". A modern PRINTOUT of his obituary titled GRIM REAPER.

These items are all out of a larger collection of photos of the Rayn family, including some later ID'd images of Rayn, his family, wife, daughters. Condition notes: Rayn's tintype has some surface wear as shown.. I'm guessing the glass probably broke at some point and it picked up some wear that way..

But the glass has now been replaced. The memorial card is in very good antique condition overall. There is a light wrinkle on the back that does not show through to the front.
