Civil War CDV of Major Cyrus Strouse, 46th Pennsylvania Volunteers. Strouse was taken prisoner at Middletown, VA in 1862 and later exchanged. He would be killed in action at the Battle of Chancellorsville in May 1863. This image and others came from an album containing various members of the 46th.The condition of the carte is as seen, and has a Henwood photographers imprint on the rear.
