Great Ambrotype Double Armed Civil War Confederate Soldier 1851 Colt & Bowie

  
Here is a very nice Civil War ambrotype of a young Confederate soldier in battle shirt sporting an 1855 Colt Side Hammer Root Revolver and a huge side knife. The buttons are a dome shape but the state seal is hard to see with the gold gilt. The crack does take away some but its still a very clear image of a rosy cheeked double armed Confederate soldier.
