13 102nd OVI Civil War CDV Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Brig. Gen. Granger + 10th Wi

  
Offered for your consideration are 15 Civil War Carte de Visite or CDVs. All of the photos were taken in Nashville by a couple different photography studios in Nashville including; Metropolitan Gallery, The Gallery of the Cumberland. Granger and on other were taken at The National Portrait Gallery in Nashville. Of the 15 CDVs being offered all but 4 have been identified. John A Stoward Moses Moore J. Wasson - Captured in action at Athens. Horn - Philip L Horn captured in action at Athens. Wiley George D Shurmin 10th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Brig. Granger The vast majority of the photos are portraits of Civil War soldiers from the 102nd OVI, Ohio Volunteer Infantry. One of the signed CDVs is of Brig. He was in charge of the Union forces at Decatur Alabama where the 102nd OVI was stationed during the battle of Decatur. The quote below is from wikipedia The Battle of Decatur. Conducted from October 26 to October 29, 1864, as part of the Franklin-Nashville Campaign. Of the American Civil War.

Forces of 35,000 men under Brig. Prevented the 39,000 men of the Confederate. From crossing the Tennessee River. All the photos are in pretty good condition considering there age. PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTOS CAREFULLY FOR CONDITION.
