The stamp on the reverse says HANDY WASHINGTON DC - which is reflective of the LC HANDY, Washington, DC photography studio who came into possession of Brady's original negatives upon his death. Information contained in Letter of Authenticity. Original 1862 photograph of the aftermath of the battle of Fredericksburg in the Civil War and showing "Death Trap on Telegraph Road". Issued in 1912 on the fiftieth anniversary of the battle, the photo carries the stamp from Mathew Brady studios and it still has over 110 years of age to it! Photo is in nice shape overall it presents well from Brady's famous studios!
