Antique U S Civil War Era Framed Photographs, Ambrotypes

  

S Civil War era photographs are the perfect collectors' items for history buffs. The beautiful frames add to their authenticity, making them a great conversation starter when displayed on the wall. Photos are of a young girl and boy, possibly sister and brother. Frame size is 7" x 8.5".

I have been told they are "Ambrotype" but have not been verifide. Looking closely it almost shows a rosiness to the cheeks and also the girl's necklace and ring appear to have a gold or silver look to them.
