Very unusual 6th Plate Civil War Ruby Ambrotype of a Confederate officer or Pre-War Militia captain. He holds a sword pulled out of its scabbard. The stripe pattern on his jacket suggests Mississippi or possibly Tennessee. Note also the star on the cuff. Comes with complete leatherette case, separated at the spine.
