Major Albert James Myer seated at a desk in civilian clothes. Photo was taken August 1862. The card was completely unidentified when I got it, but there is a variant of this view at the Library of Congress and it is Gardner negative No. The information as to who is in the photo & where this image was taken are from that view at the LC.
