1/6 PLATE DOUBLE-ARMED OFFICER TINTYPE- He Wears Holstered Pistol and Cradles Sword. Looks like a block "1" in the infantry horn insignia on cap. Serious looking seated officer tintype in half case is a lieutenant or captain. Looks like a Colt revolver. Within the infantry horn insignia is either an "I" or a block "1", I think it's a "1" which would likely make this early war.

I show the image both in the original mat and without which I like because it reveals more detail. Item permanently guaranteed vintage and authentic. This is an original vintage photograph from the period, it is NOT a reproduction. Small area at right edge of image has thin varnish.
