He is a fair-haired Reb wearing a distinctive uniform that is similar to that worn by soldiers of the 46th Virginia Infantry. Dark shoulder tabs and collar.

Jacket buttons are gold gilted. Retains full case however case is separated. Image retains an old catalogue paper which the image was featured/published in.
