This print was taken from the classic Alexander Gardner two volume set titled Gardner's Photographic Sketch Book Of The War, published by Phillip And Solomons, Washington, 1865. Size of the albumen print is 7" by 9", and is. Mounted on larger sheet within lithographed frame bearing caption, title and credit line. The print is nicely framed by Sterling Arts of San Francisco with plexiglass.
The back has identifying title and the original back page with long description of the battle. Overall condition is excellent, the print is fine, there is a slight blemish in the caption below the image. Not examined out of the frame.
