Sixth plate tintype of a triple armed Union cavalry soldier. He has his saber and two Colt revolvers in his belt. He is also wearing an unusual pair of guantlets that have a shiny look to them. I have had two other images of cavalry soldiers with this type of glove. The hand part is dull, but the part from the wrist back is glossy.

Image is one shade dark and is closer to scan number one in terms of the contrast and darkness of the image. He is a young guy with a great cap and pose. (Third photo is another image showing the same gloves).
