1/9 PLATE CIVIL WAR PATRIOTIC THERMOPLASTC CASE "CAMP SCENE" IN MINTY CONDITION. You are a wonderful thermoplastic Union Case for your original Civil War tintype or ambrotype. If you are in the market to give your image the proper case, then look no further, you just found a perfect patriotic case with a Civil War camp scene on the front. Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of this cased image and as part of my description.

The thermoplastic Union case does not have any significant chips or cracks. The case closes nicely with a slight bit of wobble to the hinges, but not bad.

The only other minor flaws I can find on this case are a small area of discoloration on the front side and a tiny hairline at the clasp. The case has a wonderful pillow with a bird and floral motifs pressed into the warm colored velvet. The original label is still present inside the the case. I wish all my fellow Civil War image collectors.
