This is a great clear image of a child in the Civil War. The un-named boy in the image looks maybe 10-12 years of age and is in full uniform with kepi. The sleeves of the uniform are clearly cut down from an adult uniform to fit his short arms, leaving very large cuffs around his hands. One cant but be startled looking at this image of a boy far too young to experience the horrors of war standing proud in his uniform ready to fight for his country.
