6th plate ambrotype of two soldiers, with fixed bayonets, and. Comes in a full case that is 3.75" x 3.25" when closed. I have provided an unedited. Great, original Civil War image, open to offers.

Condition notes: Looks to be in very good condition. When held at an angle there is a sort of waviness visible, which in my experience usually means the black paint on the back of the glass is starting to flake (not the emulsion), but the image looks very nice as-is, and whatever it is is stable, so I don't want to take it apart to possibly affect that. Those vertical lines in the upper left and bottom right are not mat. Abrasions but appear to be some sort of discoloration, or perhaps marks.
