Expressive Bearded Civil War Soldier Tintype Armed with Musket, Bayonet & Canteen

  
Great looking sixth plate tintype of an expressive bearded Civil War soldier armed with musket and bayonet affixed, canteen (or possibly haversack), cartridge box and cap box. His US belt buckle and eagle breast plate are clearly visible having not been obstructed with gold gilt.

He sports a 9-button frock coat and kepi, with eyes which tell a thousand stories. Condition : Very light surface wear and faint solarization of the perimeter, otherwise nice. While the image is a hair dark, it's an attractive image that views nicely. Housing : Nice half black leatherette case.
