Interesting Civil War CDV Photograph. Slocum, of the Rhode Island 2nd Infantry. Died July 21, 1861 at the Battle of First Bull Run. Back of the card has the original underlying mark for photographer Silsbee, Case & Co.
The card mark is covered by two advertising labels, both obscurred but the top large label is from N. Condition: moderate Soiling and light edge wear on both card and image.
