The unique image is labeled "2 Headed Girl, MILLIE-CRISSIE". Millie and Christine McKoy born into slavery In North Carolina July 11,1851 and died Oct. The African American conjoined twins went by stage names "The Carolina Twins", "The Two-Headed Nightingale" and "The Eighth Wonder of the World". The twins traveled the world performing song and dance for entertainment. The CDV Photograph is in good condition.

The image is back marked J. FITZGIBBON 116 North Fourth St Louis Mo. " The bottom reads, "The only Gallery in the city where pictures are taken at night.
