1860s Civil War Union Soldier W/ Rifle US Buckle Breastplate Photo Hand Painted. Came from a local estate.

Frame measures 20 1/2 X 24 1/2" and the opening is 15 1/2 X 19 1/2". Super nice hand painted/ embellished portrait of a Union Civil War soldier in uniform. Holding a rifle, has a US belt buckle and a breastplate with an eagle on it. Has some wear in the upper right blank area, some tiny spots of paint or something on it along the bottom.

Has some small spots on his hand and in the lower left ares but they dont look like mildew spots or anything like that. Some of the plaster decor is missing from the lower right corner, some of the other ones have chips. Really nice large size image.
