Up for sale is an extremely rare image of a young Marine during the Civil War. He wears a very distinctive 7 button frock with neck stock. His coat has piping along the base of the collar, and so do his trousers. His Marines Corps kept rests on the table with gild hiding over the M.

Across his chest is the unique white buff leather and plain buckles and plates. The trousers have some crazing, which is solid, and gives an attractive look. Overall, this is a very unique Marines Corps image that is exponentially harder to find than Confederate images.
