Artur Soden cabinet card published by Elmer Chickering of Boston. The Chickering studio name lived on for a few years after Elmer's death. This cabinet dates somewhere in the 1910's. Soden was one of the original owners of the Boaton National League franchise. Originally bought into the Franchise in 1876. He was a hospital steward in the US Civil War. Arthur served in the 22nd Massachusetts infantry. He was elected to the MLB Hall of Fame Honor Roll. That was the old way the elected non players. They just elect non players into the regular HOF now. They don't elect new members to the Honor Roll. About 11 by 14 inch. I will require a signature on this.
