Civil War Image - NCO's Outdoors- Possibly 23rd N. This is an unmounted stereo image that is identified, Sergeants of some militia regt.

Or of the 23rd N. All are wearing militia uniforms; the one soldier on the left has shoulder straps, but has chevrons on cuff's and holds an M1840 NCO sword. An interesting image showing an array of uniforms in the early part of the war. Very good condition, with some light wrinkling.
