Original Glass Plate Photo of General Joe Wheeler by Brady taken Post War, probably 1890's. I believe this is a contact print made by L. Handy from the Brady Glass Negative. Measures 8 X 9.5 overall. Handy's stamp on reverse. A spectacular original portrait of Gen. Handy (died 1932) was a Wash.

Photographer and was in possession of all the Brady negatives until they were turned over by his estate to the Library of Congress in 1954. The Library of Congress website has more information about the Handy-Brady Collection.
