This is an exceptional antique self standing picture frame. It can be utilized as a Mantle, Dresser or Vanity frame. This frame is from the US Civil War period. It is composed of Gutta Percha over a wooden frame.

This frame is 13 inches height. It is 11 & 3/4 inches width at the footed base. This beauty will host a picture up to 7 & 5/8 x 9 & 5/8 inches. The Chinese Quing Dynasty design is magnificent.

This was likely originally intended to house an ancestral portrait. The pigments implemented to color the lords & ladies scene & appliques is quite lovely.
