Type: Ferrotype aka Tintype with Brass mat, patriotic brass preserver and protective glass. Subject Photo: Young Soldier stands in uniform with his sword at his side. In the background is a nicely tinted painted backdrop of a camp scene and Manor House. Note: Tin plate has a faint "Neff's Patent" stamp.

Condition: Very nice overall condition. Mild scratching image, majority hidden by mat. Image has moderate silvering along the edges and across the top of his head.
