Here we offer an original Civil War-era large-format photograph of a young, uniformed, and armed Union soldier, framed under glass in an antique shadowbox frame. The 4.5 x 3.5-inch photograph looks to be a poor print originally, without much detail, but it was originally hand-colored, so that the subject's jacket is Union blue. The frame is in very good condition with its original hanging loop still attached please see pics. Measures approximately 7.75 x 6.5-inches.
