I have a vast amount of estate items I've bought over the last 25 plus years. There are fewer and fewer estate auctions than there were in years past. Items are becoming much harder to find. Condition for age as shown. Civil War Era CDV PHOTO GIRL & ANTIQUE CHINA DOLL W.

Measures 2 & 1/2 X 4. In 1850, William was living with his parents in Wayne, Wayne County, Indiana; both William and his father were listed as shoemakers. From 1857 to 1861, William had a daguerreotype studio in Richmond, Indiana, over Estell's jewelry store. In the period of 1860 through 1861, he was in partnership as "Watson & Estell". In the 1860 census, William was living with his parents and his wife Elizabeth (last name unknown, born circa 1828) in Richmond; his occupation was dag artist. Sometime between that census and the 1880 census, William passed away; his wife Elizabeth and two children were living with his mother in Richmond. Just remember enlarged photos or scans tend to exaggerate any flaws.
