Civil War Trooper 1/6th Plate Tintype - Has His Colt Displayed - Full Case. Here is a very nice 1/6th plate tintype of a Civil War trooper with his Colt revolver on display. He wears a grey great coat, wonderful clarity and focus as you can see.

In a thermoplastic case by Littlefield and Parsons, original mat. Case is excellent condition, no damage other than a hairline crack right above the closure tab, the case does not snap shut but the clasp could likely be adjusted to make it work, likely cracked when being opened improperly at some time.

Case measures 3 3/4" x 3 1/4". The tintype has great clarity, emulsion halo around the subject as you can see. I try hard to accurately describe my items. Otherwise, all deals are considered FINAL.
