Original 1860's cdv photo of Rosecrans the famous Civil War general. A rare closeup view to the waist. This example measures 3 11/16 inches long by 2 11/32 inches wide. Identified in ink in an unknown hand on the back. This cdv has age toning & some wear around the edges. Also, there is irregular trim at the right the top, & the bottom borders which was performed in period to expedite album insertion. This item is inventory #9190.
