VTG CIVIL WAR RUSSELL BROS. PANORAMIC PHOTOGRAPH, TENNESSEE 3rd INFANTRY REVIEW

  

Such a find we have here! Is a FRAMED VINTAGE, ORIGINAL, ANTIQUE CIVIL WAR RUSSELL BROTHERS PANORAMIC PHOTOGRAPH, #38 OF THE TENNESSEE 3rd INFANTRY IN REVIEW. I'm going to let the photos take it from here. Here is an answer to a question that was recently asked of me.

I have Googled the Russell Bros. And did not come up with anything but a Circus Troupe from the 1920's-30's with that name. The Tennessee 3rd Regiment Infantry was with the Union and this photo has the appropriate uniforms for that time. Also, on the photo, near the mid-left is a group of soldiers, led by a Calvary officer, in the typical 2 line formation where, when fighting, the first line fires and then drops down to reload while the line behind them fires above them and them they reload while the first line fires their reload. This photo and period frame are in very good condition.

7 1/2"x 16" and the photograph measures approx. 3 1/2" x 11 1/2".
