These images are marked Comparison 1, 2, and 3. This photo was taken in Rockford Illinois, same as the CDV for sale in this listing. I also noticed the chair in the "Barnes & Curtis" studio is the exact same chair in both images. According to the comparison CDV, it was taken in 1861.
